    First of all GREAT MOD :P
    Is it possible to add an areaType Hollow Sphere.
    Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t see the option :)
    I see that there have been added a lot to area type but not the HSphere…

    1. No, I’m sorry. The reason is because you can do it already, by subtracting a smaller sphere from a bigger sphere (using the blacklisting feature available for all commands).

  2. So I love your mod PneuMaticCraft Maarten and I thank you for all the hard work you’ve put into it, but it has been giving me a couple of headaches lately.
    I found it tedious searching for those small oil wells that naturally spawn with PMC, empty them in like a minute, then move to the next. So I installed BuildCraft and pruned the world around my base with mcedit and voila! Huge BC oil spouts and lakes all around. I then picked my old trusty BC pump and 4 redstone engines and proceeded to the nearest well. Placed the pump over the oil and waited… and waited for it to extend, but nothing happened. I placed it over water, worked fine. Over oil, nada! I tried your gas pump, it goes straight through the oil continuously digging down. I remove PMC and the pump works fine over oil. I’ve also noticed that the Gasoline liquid that’s supposed to be replaced with BC fuel, has a lava texture, and the oil when put to tanks (via bucket) has an error texture or is invisible. All these fix again if I remove PMC.
    I bugged a bunch of Minecraft youtubers and searched for this a lot before making this post. I find it odd that no one else noticed this.
    So can you shed some light in here my friend. I’ve taken a bunch of pics, unfortunately I had no idea how to compile my mods list into a single .txt file, so I made a collage of them as they appear inside the curse client.

  3. There seems to be an issue with Rotarycraft lubricant. Both PC and RC lubricrant buckets are the same in the fluid registry, and if I right click a bucket on a tank of RC lubricant it *automagically turns to PC lubricant bucket. Is this intended?

  4. I swear, I’m looking EVERYWHERE, and I can’t find out how to equip a minigun to a drone! I can only find gun ammo, but no minigun!
    How does it work?

    1. Isn’t the info in In-Game Wiki Mod? Give the Drone an Entity Tracker upgrade (in a Charging Station). The info is also in the Charging Station when you open the Drone’s upgrade slots.

      1. That’s what was needed! Looks like I didn’t actually look EVERYWHERE…
        I was looking mostly in NEI and in the in-game wiki in the drone page and in the upgrade page, but no minigun was mentioned in neither of them, and gun ammo had no page: also, the entity tracker upgrade doesn’t say it can be used in a drone…
        I think that at least creating a page for gun ammo in the in game wiki that tells you how to equip the minigun would help a lot.

  5. my drones still having issues with placing blocks.
    when i puzzle the start, import from inv, place, export to inv, suicide… then it will suicide inmediatly, or the drone blocks with the inventories, or it’s gone placing one block and then suicides…

    sometimes it works, but most of the times it wont…

    1. If it suicides immediately that means it can’t even import items. This is due to either:
      -There is no inventory at the area you selected.
      -The inventory you selected is empty.
      -The items in the inventory don’t match your item filter (don’t use any item filter piece to allow every item).
      -The inventory can’t be reached, it’s surrounded by blocks.

      1. all of the above are checked and are correct. The problem aint with importing and exporting, but with placing the blocks. As for example, i pick: start-imp-goto-exp-suic. The drone will perfectly follow my orders, as soon as i replace the goto with place, i have for different results:
        1st will succeed, 2nd will place 1 block and suicide, 3th will import and export and kill itselfs. regards

        1. Had this crash while changing directions how to place blocks: east, west… Might also be the reason why it doesn’t always goes placing the blocks…?

    give me deus ex.

    a mod of deus ex. i noticed that the security stations’ layout is pretty much the same as the one in the game (-it’s awesome-)
    even if there could be some thing upgraded:
    - add capture time ?
    - add node security rating ?
    - add multiple scanning subroutine options ?
    - add capturing animation ?
    - add better alarm when discovered ?
    - add APIs giving you something when hacked ?
    - add better texture ?

    i’m sorry if this seems annoying to you, but what you did so far is awesome and if you’re out of ideas (you aren’t) this is what you could do. and since your mod is a quite big thing, maybe you’ll be able to make this mod exist.

    player augmentations, weapons, blocks found ingame.., cameras & TURRETS (all hackable), limb clinics and such

    maarten maarten, i’ve seen no other deus ex mod out there, you’ll be the first. plus the DXHR is quite huge so you may get an appreciable load of downloaders incoming.

  7. I am having an issue with the mod where when i attempt to load a world it instantly says shutting down internal sever and then my game crashes

    is it possible to get the drones to plant seeds? i did try using the place puzzle but it diden’t work.

  9. is it possible to integrate magic essence compatibility with drone?
    actually i’m using the same code for the ender-lily seeds created by direwolf20 but there is a problem the drone won’t plant the seed (actually he can recognise a fully growth plant and harvest it but not plating it) tryed with all different possibility like “place” or “click on block” but he can’t use the seed (usede all metadata and ecc..)

    1. Right click block should work. In that case, make sure to select the soil blocks as area, not the block above it. Also make sure to select the ‘top’ side to be clicking (not click from the bottom, which is default)

    When i Run the newest stable version on a Forge 1.7.10 Server the tickrate explodes when Drones should do something…

    1. “should do something”? more details? If they were doing Entity Attack, wait for next version, it’s fixed in that one.

  11. Running the mod through the current Crash Landing pack and i seem to be having a small issue with RedNet.

    Specifically, when trying to power the advanced regulator valve from below, it’s either all or nothing. Even a power of 1 in the cable will cause the valve to seal at 0bar.

    I haven’t tested any of the variables yet.

  12. Suggestion: you should make the pressure chambers capatible with applied energistics autocrafting. You are of course able to insert stuff with interfaces, but it would be cool if you could make it so that if an interface is connected to an output of the pressure chamber it would automaticly whitelist any requested items that are made with the pressure chamber! That would be fun!

    Might have dropped this comment in the wrong section before, sorry about that.
    Want to report some things, maybe some of it got fixed in the latest update. Server didnt update it yet.

    - The drones seem to lose the tool they are holding when the server restarts.
    - Pneumatic helmet turns itself into unnamed after adding upgrades and crashes my client whenever it initializes the upgrades.

  14. BUG WITH PRESSURE CHAMBERS + REDSTONE IN MOTION MOD
    If you move one of the blocks of the pressure chamber with the “redstone in motion” mod is doenst break the multiblock, it still works and you can acess the gui and everything works.
    Its because “redstone in motion” can move tile entities too.

    So you can open the chambers, drop the items without any loose of pressure.

    1. That’s one of the edge cases of tricky things like frames and TileEntity movers. Won’t fix, if you want to abuse that, fine, your call.

      1. I would never use a cheaty bug like that, Pressure chamber interfaces are there to be used.
        I’m sad that not fixable.

Hi , so i had this base in mind and i really think it would be cool to built it and i wanted to use pneumatic craft to build it , but i had a problem becasue i wasted to make it a big one so i thought how awesome would be for pneumatic craft to have elevator bove left and right back and forth and stuff like that . So i was wondering if you could consider adding that , i think a lot of people would agree with me

  16. Is there going to be any future compatibility with 1.7.2? I have been enjoying the mod so far. I have a fair amount of time invested in my current setup and was hoping to wait until the 1.8 release before starting a new world. If not hopefully we’ll see you in 1.8 :)

  18. I have the same problem as dreadlock5 (the drone works great than after a few minutes the lag kicks in).Theris no water or slabs in the area…. I`ll try excluding the area that has fences, maybe that will fix it?

    1. Yes, currently any block that isn’t a full block but has some form of collision is a problem. It’s fixed in the next upcoming version for Minecraft 1.7.2. Dependent if you’re running 1.6 still or not will say if that’s any use to you.

      1. Would this include the fact that i have a charging station with pressure tubes, redstone, pressure gauge tube, and air compressor inside the area the drone is working?

  19. First up, loving the mod and the drones. With that said, i just started using the drones to manage a tree farm along with some golems from thaumcraft. I place the drone and it picks up the items with no problem and places them into the chest, but when it goes to hover over the chest to wait for more items to pick up i get serious lag in my game. I can’t open doors or chest and keep respawning in a location i was just in a few seconds ago. I was just wondering if there was any way to adjust the drone to search less often for new items to reduce lag on my computer. Thanks again for the mod.

    1. Can it be that the Drone tried to pick up items it wasn’t able to reach (items in water, or in half blocks/multiparts)? If so, try to select an area that doesn’t include these unreachable spots for now. It’s fixed in next version, where the Drone won’t even try to navigate over there.

    How about an Electro Magnet multiblock that sucks mobs with armour to it or items/metal/ore
    or even a placeable drill that mines what ever is below it for air
    Still loving the idea of the pressure tank cant wait till theres more you can do with it!!

    I’ve been using the mod for a couple days and it’s fantastic! I just have one major bug with the elevators. I built one 82 blocks tall and I finished it up and got on to test it. It worked perfect until I got to a block equivalent of 64 from the start base. Then the elevator became invisible past there and would not respond to anything after that. If you could fix this in the next version for 1.6.4 that would be great.

    1. I wasn’t able to reproduce this in the latest version for Minecraft 1.6.4, using Elevator Callers to control the elevator.

  24. Not sure if bug or feature

    i have 4 drones working a quarry
    3 for digging with 1 Machine Upgrade : Item Life in each

    1 for picking up with 1 Machine Upgrade : Item Life
    and 9 Machine Upgrade : Dinpencer

    and they randomly fall to the groun as items like Cobblestone you can pickup by walking over it

    1. I’m afraid this is because of a bug in the Drones that allows them to take falling damage, of which they’ll eventually die (even with Item Life). Though it’s fixed in version 1.1.4e for Minecraft 1.6.4 and version 1.1.15 for Minecraft 1.7.2.

  25. I was watching the changelog and I noticed that people could get the mod translated. I would like to translate the mod in Italian, and maybe in Spanish. I don’t personally play modded with localizations becouse some items are still in english so I get confused; But I know that a lot of people might do, and I like helping tranlate things. Where are the strings at?

    1. Currently you can only find them in the .jar (or .zip) of one of the released versions of the mod. In assets/pneumaticcraft/lang/ you should find a en_US.lang file. Though not every string in the mod is listed there yet (like all the GUI tab strings), and that’s basically the reason why you weren’t able to find the language file elsewhere: it’s incomplete. Though some people have translated the parts that are possible to be translated already, in at least German I saw.

    1. Ah, after looking it very much looks like a compatibility issue with the MyTown mod. The problem is on my part, I’ll release a hotfix for it soon. It probably will cause crashes for more blocks too.

  26. Harvest a plant. Drop the seed in a location where it will not auto-plant. Walk far enough away for the chunk to unload which will cause extreme tick lag.

  27. does this mod has many conflicts with other mods because i can disable them tell me all the other conflicts pick the mods here Abbysalcraft,digimobs,grim3212-core for timecontrol mod,w3craft,archimedes ships,enhanced portals,herobrine mod,security craft, walking dead mod,map making tools mod,weapons+ mod,damage indicator mod,bacteria mod,blocks 3d mod,mapwriter mod,mindeco mod,mr crayfish furniture mod,optifine,planetoid,secret rooms mod,tf2 dispenser,tf2 sentry,tf2 team addon,tf2 teleporter,the dalek mod,and too many items mod this is all my mods and i am 1.7.2 mc

    1. Only compatibility problems I know of are with DragonAPI V21, and with BattleGear 2.

      1. i got it to work but i cant find io unit (import) i deleted some of the mods i don’t use then put all of the mods back together, and i tested them 1 by 1

  28. I found two things that gave me a bit of a headache: the pressure chamber interface immediately pulls out any item that the filter allows which makes pressurizing with recipes that require more than one item a bit of a hassle. The second thing is that if I change the keybinding for the helmet options in the normal controls menu it doesn’t work and it disables the default key too. The only way to change it is by opening the helmet options menu itself and changing it there.

    1. Yep, the Pressure Chamber Interface is something I’m not really fond with either. Still thinking of a better way of handling it. About the keybindings, if this is about a MC1.6.4 version of the mod, yes I knew it was buggy. It should be working fine onf MC1.7.2 versions :).

      1. Hi,

        Not sure if you have addressed this. But perhaps you can create a build controller or other suitable name for the pressure chamber. This would act like a recipe system allowing you to choose what to build and maybe it would then auto insert the required items from its inventory. Similar to the laser assembler in buildcraft. So im thinking a block that acts like a chest to hold stacks of items and then you can either craft recipes for items or it intelligently can give a list of items that can be crafted from the items in the inventory. You select an item and the needed resources are added to the chamber.

        Just a thought :)

  29. I love the mod, but I found a bug with the omni-hoppers.I put down a chest the hopper behind it and a macerator behind both of them so the hopper would pull from the chest into the macerator. I put all my ores into the chest which got pulled but after the hopper’s slots got filled it put the rest into the upgrade slots, which would’ve been okay if the hopper sent it to the macerator which it didn’t. If I get it out of the upgrade slots I can’t put it back there manually, but it got pulled there again when I tried it. The only way I could fix it is that I put speed upgrades in every upgrade slot.

    Also I left this comment in the miscellaneous section too because I didn’t notice there was a bug reporting part. Sorry about that.

  30. add a feature
    add a feature which lets you cornet two elevators that are next to each other (side by side). This makes them use the same call or lets the elevator copy the elevator its linked like going to the same floor the other one is going to at the same time

  32. I looked everywhere and I can’t find anything about this, my IC2 and BC Machine extensions are all invisible and there is no way to use them, can you tell me how to fix this?

    1. Yep, this a known bug which is fixed in next version. The machines work apart from being invisible though. Use the visuals of the pipe connections for now to see if things are connected or not ;).

  35. I think i found a dup bug.

    Everytime I have a drone in my world and i reload my world it doubles the drone.

I think it would be interesting to have a program to allow drones to craft certain things, like program in to the drone that if it is using a diamond pick while mining, it can go to a crafting table and make one, and then equip it to continue. It would be very interesting, and help with other scenarios as well for the whole crafting thing.

Found a dup glitch for you with producing Compressed Iron with TNT if you place 2 TNT diagonal from each other and a lever between them and stack of iron or iron blocks on the other side of them. when you trip the lever and the TNT explodes you will end up with more compressed iron than iron you put into it.

  41. Just a suggestion, make drones take no suffocation damage. I had a drone “quarry” I was testing in creative, and only 1 of the 20 digging / collection drones i had working on it managed to survive down to y level 4o (started at 57).

    1. Sounds like a valid concern yes… Try to insert a (couple of) ‘Item Life upgrade(s)’ in the Drone (using the Charging Station). These will allow the Drone to self-repair. That probably will solve your problem.

    I have some ideas regarding the drones:

    A way to increase the power of attack or/and the dig speed. (maybe you have that planed)

    A easier way to do long programs, if you need some ideas I can help.

    1. As for dig speed: You can equip a Drone with a PickAxe (using the Inventory Import) and it’ll use it when digging (including enchants like fortune). Same deal would be possible with attacking, but that still needs to be implemented.

      Long programs? Yeah, I’ve got some ideas on that already :).

      1. Can’t seem to do so as of 1.1.7. Pickaxes just don’t fit into the drones :( Might be doing something wrong though.

        1. Found out what it is. Apparently you’re supposed to use Inventory Import puzzle, not just try to insert the pickaxe in the charging station interface
